Yeah im 29 and live at home with my parents my next door neighbor’s dog had puppies about 2 months ago. She cant find anyone to give the last puppy to and i have wanted a dog for a long time! One problem my parents wont let me have one. My dad said he would get one if you didn’t have to keep it in a fence. We live in the boon docks. I don’t work so i have plenty of time with it. Plus i get two checks a month i have the money to own a dog. I have read numerous dog books and stuff online im responsible of training that puppy. I want to spend my paycheck on the dog supplies the puppy is free. Mom doesn’t like dogs to lick her but it wont lick her if i train it not to. I have experience with dogs I watch my brothers when they go on vacation and my parents don’t mind that. I sound like a bratty 12 year old but im a grown women they should let me have a pet im home by myself until 7 every night i need company!
Oh i forgot the huge detail i guess everybody has to know im my boyfriend and i are working on buying a house!!!

I suggest you let your dad read this comment to him: What’s wrong with you? Your daughter is TWENTY-NINE!! She should be old enough to make her own choices! As long as she pays for it, and buys it’s food, etc., you should pay your daughter some respect.

With the greatest of respect, I think you are trolling, going by your earlier questions.

In any case, at 29 if you can’t figure out your life and what you want/can or can’t do by now, with or without the approval of parents, it’s just a bit too late ?

    You could try moving out…?

Maybe they feel that if you’re not supported and responsible enough to have your own place at 29, you’re not responsible enough to look after a dog. Or maybe they just don’t want a dog around the house. It is there house you know, it would be their carpet it would be peeing on.

Still their home, wether you’re 29 or 9. They pay/paid the bills, they pay insurance. Their home. Their choice. If you want a dog, get a JOB and MOVE OUT. Simple.

You do sound like a 12 year old. "I want to spend my paychecks on dog supplies"

If you are 29, you should be spending some of that money for helping out with the household – your parents are supporting you.

Dogs are expensive – he may be free, but because you don’t know anything about the health of this puppy – probably and "accidental" pregnancy – you could have vet bills for the entire life of the dog.

There may be a reason you are still living at home – perhaps you are handicapped, since you said you don’t work, but receive a check – but it is still your parents’ home. Respect their wishes.

If you’re living at home at 29, you have MUCH bigger problems than not getting a puppy

Yes you’re right .. you sound like a bratty 12 years old.

If you are a grown women with no medical disability and can work, want a dog, Get a job, get an apartment and move out. Then you can have anything and everything your little heart desires without asking Mummy and Daddy’s permission.

If you are living with your parents due to a medical issue and are unable to work gainfully then it is up to your parents if they want a dog as it is their home.

Mummy and Daddy said no. And No means No

You really should stop trolling, your other questions: your dog had puppies, dog does not like being in the laundry room, grandma won’t let aunt have a puppy etc. Go back under your bridge, little Troll.

Funny, two months ago your dog had pups, a couple of which died. Why would a 29 year old be living at home? Move out.
